During a class critique, my instructor suggested I look into Venus Figurines. These headless, footless and armless drawings I was naturally focused on was akin to those small sculptures found in prehistoric times throughout Europe as well as other parts of the world. There are many explanations that support the why of these statuettes, and these drawings graphs some of those concepts. The true reason why these statuettes were created are yet to be explained, but the reason I like drawing them stems from an idea of body caricature.
